The 5000 series aluminum alloy 5083 is distinguished by excellent processability, welding characteristics, and a strong resilience to corrosion, particularly in maritime environments. It employed the manufacture of ships, automobiles, spacecraft, industrial buildings. goal current study determine whether there any relationship between mechanical properties, structural cavitation erosion properties H111 state (rolled from 454 °C 399 annealed at 343 holding cooled air), followed artificial ageing (180 °C) with three maintenance periods 1 h, 12 24 (140 h. resistance experiments experimental samples were performed accordance ASTM G32-2016. was determined making mean penetration rate (MDER) or depth (MDE) analytical diagrams according duration attack measuring maximum analyzed stereomicroscopy scanning electron microscopy.
